QCP announces the introduction of the Twist Bench, a striking new precast concrete design for private and public spaces. The Twist Bench is the latest offering from QCP’s Agora line of contemporary site amenities, and another milestone in the manufacturer’s relationship with Cliff Garten Studio of Venice, California.

The Twist Bench is a rhythmic, sleek sweeping design featuring a prominent ‘twist’ that both guides the form and provides smooth and sensible seating for up to four. QCP and Cliff Garten Studio continue to explore the interplay between functionality and artistry with an amenity that invites visitors to connect with their surroundings. As the recipient of two Individual Artist Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, designer Cliff Garten is known for creating works that make an impact, and his vision for the Twist Bench continues that excellence.

“We are excited to share the Twist Bench with the world,” stated Rick Crook, chief executive officer of QCP. “What you see is the result of a true collaboration between our team and Cliff Garten Studio to bring out the very best in both contemporary, sculptural design and American craftsmanship.”

Nine feet in length and weighing 1,800 lbs., the Twist Bench is repeatable, able to stand on its own or to create links of continuous seating. The bench is available in Goldenrod Yellow, Argent White, Slate Grey, Sage Green and Russet Brown, with custom color options available upon request. It is available in acid etch, heavy acid etch and rusticated finishes with optional honed or polished top surfaces also available.

Manufactured from cast recycled concrete products, the Twist Bench also furthers QCP’s commitment to creating safe, sustainable precast concrete solutions for a greener environment without sacrificing beauty, durability or functionality.

Cliff Garten Studio was established by Cliff Garten, an internationally recognized sculptor known for exploring the interplay of architectural landscape, infrastructure and urban space. Garten holds a Master of Landscape Architecture with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Master of Fine

Arts in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. His works have been named best in the nation by The Americans for the Arts Public Art Network and the American Society of Landscape Architects
